Peas and Q's

One of my New Year's intentions this year is to try understand some of my own "quirks". One of those "quirks" is my tendency towards knee-jerk type reactions that result with my saying "no" to situations or people without fully knowing the "why" behind my "no". Green peas invoke one of those reactions. I see them on a plate, and my mouth clamps shut while my head shakes "no".
